This weekend, four-time indicted, presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump saluted convicted January 6 insurrectionists and declared there would be a “bloodbath” if he lost the election.
Brian Fitzpatrick has stayed silent in the wake of this hateful speech, just as he refused to condemn GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, who would not commit to certifying the 2024 presidential election, and declined to say whether he would endorse Trump.
He can run, but he can’t hide his loyalty to the GOP’s nominee.
Fitzpatrick owes Western Pennsylvania voters an answer about why he’s complicit in Trump’s dangerous, violent rhetoric.
DCCC Spokesperson Aidan Johnson:
“Brian Fitzpatrick seems to think keeping quiet on Trump’s offensive comments time and time again is helpful, but actions speak louder than words. Fitzpatrick has spent years pushing an extreme MAGA agenda in Congress, and Pennsylvania voters will remember this silence and far-right fealty come November.” |
