On the one-year anniversary of the January 6th Capitol riot, Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, who once called the events of January 6th a “coup attempt,” has spent the last year siding with and protecting those who attempted a coup on our country.
Fitzpatrick — a former FBI agent and prosecutor — apparently no longer has any interest in standing up for justice. Instead, he chose to spend the past year putting his head down and siding with the most radical factions of the Republican Party.

Took more than $50,000 from the “Sedition Caucus” — the 147 Republicans who voted against certifying the 2020 electoral college results.

Voted against impeaching Trump, which “showed a total lack of courage” according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Cowardly dodged standing for the truth as Liz Cheney was removed from GOP leadership for telling the truth about the legitimacy of the 2020 election.

Held a fundraiser with top donor and ally Jim Worthington who organized buses for hundreds of people to attend the January 6th rally in D.C. – Fitzpatrick “counseled” Worthington as he dealt with the FBI.

Voted against establishing the bipartisan select committee now investigating the January 6th Capitol insurrection.

Voted against holding ex-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows in contempt of Congress over his refusal to cooperate with the January 6th committee
