Brian Fitzpatrick Voted Against Protecting Access to Contraception

Fitzpatrick has a longstanding record of opposing reproductive health care

Vulnerable Republican Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick voted against protecting access to contraception for his Bucks and Montgomery County constituents.

Fitzpatrick voted to deny women access to contraception prescribed by a doctor last week. Watch Fitzpatrick vote ‘nay’ here.

Fitzpatrick continues to cast extreme votes in Washington against reproductive freedom. Fitzpatrick has voted for a nationwide abortion ban with limited exceptions, calling it a “good starting point.” He voted not once, but twice, against codifying the freedoms Roe v. Wade guaranteed. And he voted to provide taxpayer funds to anti-abortion “crisis pregnancy centers,” which manipulate women seeking care with unproven and dangerous medical misinformation.

DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Brian Fitzpatrick is an anti-abortion extremist who consistently opposes a woman’s freedom to make her own health care decisions.”
