Bryce Reeves Celebrates NRA Endorsement After Mass Shootings

In the wake of devastating mass shootings across the country, Reeves would be a reliable vote for the gun lobby

In the wake of a series of devastating mass shootings in America, including a Texas elementary school shooting that killed 19 students and two teachers, Bryce Reeves is siding with the National Rifle Association.

The NRA endorsed Bryce Reeves in VA-07 this week, giving him an “A+” rating. Reeves touted the endorsement on Tuesday, saying: “I’m honored to have the support of the NRA. I have fought relentlessly in Richmond to secure our Second Amendment rights.”

The endorsement comes after Reeves has refused to answer press questions about if he will support common-sense gun violence prevention. According to InsideNoVA, “Prince William County Supervisor Yesli Vega and state Sen. Bryce Reeves did not return requests for comment on any measures they would take to curb gun violence.”

Bryce Reeves stands with the NRA and the gun lobby — not with Virginia families, who deserve common-sense gun violence prevention.

“Bryce Reeves doesn’t have the backbone to stand up to the gun lobby and he’ll be nothing but a yes-man for the NRA’s agenda in Congress,” said DCCC spokesperson Monica Robinson. “If Reeves can’t summon the courage to speak up on gun violence prevention after a mass shooting at an elementary school, he never will. Virginians deserve better.”
