Bustos Touts House Dems’ Aggressive Digital Mobilization Strategy on MSNBC’s KasieDC

As campaigns continue to adapt and innovate during the age of COVID-19, Chairwoman Cheri Bustos laid out Democrats’ aggressive digital mobilization strategy to energize and virtually organize volunteers across the nation on MSNBC’s KasieDC program. This includes the addition of campaign mobilization directors across 30 battleground districts to work with campaigns to design forward-thinking online organizing programs and the DCCC’s March Forward 2020 Virtual Action Center, a one-stop online hub for volunteers to get involved in Democratic House campaigns.

Since its launch in early May, the Virtual Action Center has logged more than 6,000 actions on the site and recruited volunteers across 25 different languages. The languages include: American Sign Language, Amharic, Arabic, Bengali, Cambodian, Cantonese, Farsi, French, German, Hebrew, Haitian Creole, Italian, Krio, Mandarin, May May, Pashtu, Portuguese, Russian, Somali, Spanish, Tagalog, Tigrigna, Turkish, Urdu, and Visaya.

Statement From DCCC Spokesperson Darwin Pham

“Voters across the nation are energized and ready to fight back against Republican efforts to rip away their health care and a President who has failed to protect the American people against the COVID-19 pandemic. House Democrats are working to fully tap into historically high voter enthusiasm online and out-organize Republicans to protect and expand our Majority in November.”
