Last week, Representatives Cory Mills, Anna Paulina Luna, and María Elvira Salazar cast the deciding votes to sell out Florida’s working families in exchange for giving tax breaks to the wealthiest people in the country.
According to new analysis by the Joint Economic Committee:
- More than 33,000 people in Anna Paulina Luna’s district (FL-13) would lose their health insurance.
- Nearly 40,000 people in Cory Mill’s district (FL-07) would lose their health insurance.
- More than 75,000 people in María Elvira Salazar’s district (FL-27) would lose their health insurance.
While Cory Mills and María Elvira Salazar refuse to even acknowledge the destruction they and the House GOP are doing to Medicaid, Luna has chosen instead to lie to her constituents with debunked claims that they are protecting Medicaid.
While working-class Floridians will see increased health care premiums, lose their Medicaid, and have less money for food, Mills, Luna, and Salazar are bragging about delivering nearly $400,000 for the top 0.1% of Americans.

“Representatives Mills, Luna, and Salazar are more concerned with currying favor with Washington elites than they are with protecting their own constituents. Florida is ready for real representation – not a corrupt arms dealer and a wanna-be influencer. Mills, Luna, and Salazar can lie and hide all they want but next November Floridians will remember how their representatives hung them out to dry while they’re at the ballot box.
