Thanks to Democrats, American workers continue to get back on the job.
New jobless claims numbers fell once again to a pandemic low in just the latest sign that President Biden and Congressional Democrats continue to deliver when it comes to the economy. Thursday’s strong numbers ran ahead of expert estimations, falling to 281,000 and marking the third straight week of fresh pandemic era lows.
Economists continue to be impressed with the strong results that Democrats’ economic agenda has delivered for the American people. Following the release of today’s expectation-beating jobless claims numbers, economists from Jefferies noted that “It is remarkable how fast continuing claims have come down since the beginning of the year.”
This much is clear: Democrats’ economic agenda — centered on the historic American Rescue Plan that was opposed by every single Congressional Republican — continues to grow our economy out of the pandemic and ensure that American workers are put front and center in our nation’s recovery.
