Tarkanian Has Run for Five Different Offices – And Never Won
Yesterday, talking with right-wing radio host Kevin Wall, perennial candidate Republican Danny Tarkanian had the audacity to criticize his opponent Jacky Rosen – a community leader and political outsider who has never run for office – for being a career politician. Tarkanian, on the other hand, is currently running for his sixth office since 2004. He is a far-right conservative who has never won a general election.
As Steve Sebelius wrote last month, “Everybody in America has the right to run for office, and Tarkanian has exercised that right a lot.”
“Five-time loser Danny Tarkanian has been running for one office after another for more than a decade – and it is ridiculous that he would attack someone who’s never run for office as a career politician,” said Barb Solish of the DCCC. “Tarkanian has never won a general election, and 2016 won’t be any different when voters reject his extreme views and ideological partisan agenda.”
