Carlos Curbelo’s Crocodile Tears on Gun Legislation

Today, Carlos Curbelo went to the House floor to lament the lack of action on guns and anti-terror legislation before the House adjourns for the August recess. Apparently, Curbelo has forgotten about the 20 times he voted with the Republican majority to oppose Democratic efforts to force a vote on that very bill.

“Carlos Curbelo owes South Floridians 20 explanations for the 20 times he accidently pressed the wrong button and voted against considering measures to prevent suspected terrorists from buying guns,” said DCCC Spokesman Jermaine House. “The only person Carlos Curbelo should be disappointed with is himself, since he continues to show his unwillingness to stand up for commonsense measures to protect Americans.”
