| Both Republicans and Democrats are speaking out against proposed tariffs on Canadian imports that would crush Central Kentucky families, farmers, and small businesses. But not politician Ralph Alvarado.
Asked by WKYT for his position on the cost-spiking tariffs, “his campaign said he was unable to do an interview or provide a statement.”
WKYT notes that “Canada is Kentucky’s number one export market, accounting for 17% of all the state’s goods sold overseas.”
But Ralph Alvarado – who abandoned Kentucky to move to Tennessee – can’t even be bothered to comment.

“Ralph Alvarado wants to use Central Kentuckians as the next rung on the ladder for his political career, but he won’t even speak out against policies that would crush the families, farmers, and small business owners he wants to represent. This kind of spinelessness is exactly what Central Kentuckians hate about career politicians and why Alvarado will lose in November.”
