| Since casting the deciding vote on the the largest cut to Medicaid in history, ripping health care away from nearly 68,000 people in CA-22 – or two-thirds of his district – David Valadao has gone entirely silent on his disastrous health care record because he knows it will cost him his seat, just like it did in 2018.
Valadao won’t give his constituents the answers they deserve, but he WILL tell reporters that representing a swing-district allows him to “vote [his] conscience.”
DCCC Spokesperson Anna Elsasser:
“When it comes to ripping away health care from his own constituents, David Valadao has nothing to say. That’s because he knows it’s indefensible, and the reason he’ll be out of a job – again – in November.”
