Catalina Lauf is attacking law enforcement.
After the news that the FBI searched the Florida home of Catalina Lauf’s former boss, Donald Trump, Lauf questioned the integrity of federal law enforcement and amplified further attacks against the FBI.
As National Journal put it: “[Republicans] appeared to become the party of ‘defund the police’ in a matter of hours.”
Instead of letting law enforcement do its job, Republicans immediately leapt to spread baseless conspiracy theories and attack the integrity of the FBI. Despite Lauf’s claim that “We support our men and women in law enforcement,” Lauf joined the chorus of extremists criticizing federal law enforcement.
“Catalina Lauf is so extreme that she attacked law enforcement the second it served her politically,” said DCCC spokesperson Matt Corridoni. “If Catalina Lauf really respected the law, she would let law enforcement do their work instead of attacking the integrity of the FBI.”
