Tonight, voters will fire Derrick Van Orden after his years putting DC politics ahead of West Central Wisconsin.
Refresh your memory on Van Orden’s toxic record:
Derrick Van Orden voted for the largest Medicaid cuts in history, stripping health care from millions and forcing rural hospitals to cut services and close – all to give tax breaks to his special interest donors.
He took campaign cash from health insurers, then supported letting them deny health insurance to people who get sick or have pre-existing conditions and voted to raise health care premiums.
And he took campaign cash from drug companies and opposed requiring Medicare to negotiate lower prescription drug prices.
Van Orden took tens of thousands in campaign cash from the data center industry while he voted for a bill that gave over $80 billion in tax breaks to data center developers.
Van Orden has rubber stamped the Iran War and the reckless tariffs, even as they’ve driven up the cost of gas, diesel, groceries, and more – hurting farmers and forcing Wisconsinites to pay more for everything.
