| By now you’ve seen the headlines: Democrats dominated all across Virginia on Tuesday.
The results flash a massive warning sign for vulnerable Republican Congressman Rob Wittman and Congresswoman Jen Kiggans.
POLITICO: “Spanberger’s strong showing in southeast Virginia could provide hope for Democrats aiming to flip districts held by GOP Reps. Jen Kiggans and Rob Wittman next year, even before potential changes from a redistricting push to help make that effort easier.”
COOK POLITICAL REPORT: “In swingy Chesterfield County — just outside of the state capital of Richmond which Spanberger once represented in Congress — the Democrat won by 17 points, compared to nine points for Harris and a four-point victory by Youngkin. Exit polls show that Spanberger won college graduates by a 27 point margin, suburban voters by 18 points and independent voters by 19 points.”
