CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Republicans’ Broken Promises on Rising Prices Will Cost them The House Majority

Prices continue to rise, American families and businesses are struggling to keep up, and now House Republicans are getting called out for failing to lower costs – despite having promised to in 2024.

MSNOW highlighted vulnerable House Republicans in TX-15VA-02, and PA-08 for running 2024 campaign ads attempting to cast themselves as champions of lowering costs, only for them to fall in line behind Trump’s price-hiking agenda of tariffs and tax breaks for the wealthiest few that everyday Americans end up paying for.

During the segment, a Republican pundit perfectly summed up the conundrum facing these vulnerable Republicans who’ve been caught breaking their promise to voters:

“Does anybody think things are better right now than they were in 2024 for the Republican party? I’m not sure about that. And forget the Republican party. How about the American pocketbook? So yeah, the affordability issues. What brought you to town can absolutely drive you back out.”

DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
“Vulnerable Republicans sold voters a bill of goods, and now they got caught. Prices are higher, life is too damn expensive, and the American people are ready to reject the Rubber Stamp Republicans in November.”
