New analysis from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) finds that the House Republican budget bill – greenlit by Gabe Evans – will force middle class Coloradans to foot the bill for huge tax breaks to billionaires.
The CBO report on the bill finds that the poorest 10% of Americans will see their household resources reduced, while the richest will see their resources increase.
This new analysis comes as Evans has been lying about his and House Republicans’ true agenda of slashing Medicaid, risking health care coverage for 542,000 Coloradans, and gutting the SNAP programs that 218,601 Colorado households depend on – all so they can pay for tax breaks for the richest Americans.
