New analysis from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) finds that the House Republican budget bill – supported by Ann Wagner – will force middle class Missourians to foot the bill for huge tax breaks to billionaires.
The CBO report on the bill finds that the poorest 10% of Americans will see their household resources reduced, while the richest will see their resources increase.
This new analysis comes as Wagner has been lying to Missourians about her and House Republicans’ true agenda of slashing Medicaid, risking health care coverage for 445,000 Missourians, and gutting the SNAP programs that 246,107 Missouri households depend on – all so they can pay for tax breaks for the richest Americans.
