New analysis from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) finds that the House Republican budget bill – supported by Mariannette Miller-Meeks, Ashley Hinson, and Zach Nunn – will force middle class Iowans to foot the bill for huge tax breaks to billionaires.
The CBO report on the bill finds that the poorest 10% of Americans will see their household resources reduced, while the richest will see their resources increase.
This new analysis comes as Miller-Meeks, Hinson, and Nunn have been lying to Iowans about this bill’s dangerous agenda of slashing Medicaid, risking health care coverage for 281,000 Iowans, and gutting the SNAP programs that 116,707 Iowans depend on – all so they can pay for tax breaks for the richest Americans.
