New analysis from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) finds that the House Republican budget bill – supported by Max Miller, Mike Turner, and Mike Carey – will force middle class Ohioans to foot the bill for huge tax breaks to billionaires.
The CBO report on the bill finds that the poorest 10% of Americans will see their household resources reduced, while the richest will see their resources increase.
This new analysis comes as Miller, Turner, and Carey have been lying to Ohioans about this bill’s true agenda of slashing Medicaid, risking health care coverage for 1,285,000 Ohioans, and gutting the SNAP programs that 611,620 Ohioans depend on – all so they can pay for tax breaks for the richest Americans.
