CBO: GOP Health Care Sabotage Hikes Premiums 15%
The Congressional Budget Office just released a new report showing that health insurance premiums will rise about 15% next year, and that Reps. Paulsen, Lewis and Republicans in Congress are responsible.
The non-partisan analysis attributes these premium increases to the GOP Tax Scam and the Trump administration’s ongoing sabotage of the Affordable Care Act. The report also estimates that 3 million Americans will lose health care coverage thanks to the GOP tax scam and increased premiums that once again make healthcare unaffordable for Americans.
“Reps. Paulsen and Lewis voted to cut taxes for corporations and raise health care premiums for Minnesotans, and this non-partisan analysis confirms that,” said DCCC Spokesperson Rachel Irwin. “Paulsen and Lewis have failed to deliver and protect quality, affordable health care for Minnesota families and voters know they are to blame for higher insurance premiums.”
