Today, DCCC Chairman Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney issued the following statement on the tragic shooting in Boulder, Colorado:
“Randy and I are deeply saddened by yet another senseless, tragic mass shooting in our country that claimed the lives of 10 victims, including the heroic police officer, Eric Talley, who was the first on the scene to respond. For the second time in a week, gun violence has shattered another community, robbing more Americans of their lives and families of their loved ones.
“As we pray for the victims and their families, we know we have a responsibility to act with real reforms that reduce gun violence in our communities.”
