This week, the Republican Study Committee released their 2023 budget, putting a clear target on Georgia farmers and showing the high stakes of electing a Republican like Chris West to Congress. This extreme proposal would eliminate billions in funding, leaving hard-working Georgia families vulnerable as many facing ongoing economic hardship.
While the Republican Party looks for places to slash programs for farmers, Rep. Sanford Bishop never backs down when it comes to supporting Georgia’s agricultural and rural communities. Bishop has steered more than $10 billion in federal resources to support Georgia ranchers and farmers and meet critical infrastructure needs in broadband, water, sewer, and health care access.
