Anti-abortion group National Right to Life Committee’s (NRLC) super PAC is investing in GA-02, going to bat for Chris West as Election Day approaches.
As reported by Columbus Ledger-Enquirer, West wants to ban abortion with no exceptions, not even to save the life of the mother. NRLC knows that West will push their extreme anti-choice agenda if sent to Congress, and this latest investment should send a stark warning to Georgia voters.

NRLC is pushing model legislation in states that would ban abortions with no exceptions for rape or incest.

NRLC’s general counsel, Jim Bopp, bragged about their model legislation that would allow states to force young girls to carry a rapist’s child to term, and even said NRLC hopes that child rape victims “would understand the reason and ultimately the benefit of having the child.”

NRLC wants to ban telemedicine for medical abortions, at a time when cancer patients and people with auto-immune diseases are unable to access their life-saving medication because anti-abortion extremists worry it could be used to terminate a pregnancy.
NRLC’s investment in this race is yet another reminder that Chris West and House Republicans will ban abortion nationwide if given the opportunity.
