Christie Loyalist To Throw Tattered Hat in the Ring

Trenton Insider Tom Kean Jr. to Announce Bid for Congress

Trenton insider Tom Kean Jr. is expected to launch his campaign for Congress later today. The failed Senate candidate remained loyal to New Jersey’s least popular governor of all time despite Chris Christie’s early efforts to unseat him. Kean would later pledge his unwavering loyalty to the corruption-plagued Governor throughout the remainder of his tenure.

Kean is no stranger to campaigning.  In 2006 he ran for Senate and failed—losing by a decisive 9 points. The career campaigner will stop at nothing to gain higher office.

“The last thing New Jersey families need is a Chris Christie loyalist and apologist like Tom Kean Jr. representing them in the United States Congress,” said DCCC Spokesperson Christine Bennett.  “Just as he’s been a loyal vote for the failed Christie agenda, Kean will be a reliable rubber stamp for the same reckless Washington Republican agenda that’s responsible for raising the cost of health care and tax rates of hardworking New Jersey families.”
