David Stevens, close friend of Mark Finchem, and election conspiracy theorist trusted to lead Cochise County elections
This week, Cochise County voted to hand all election duties to David Stevens, a far-right Republican who has cast doubt on the security of elections and a close ally to Arizona conspiracy theorist Mark Finchem.
Juan Ciscomani has yet to comment on or condemn this move.
Juan Ciscomani won his 2022 election by just a few thousand votes – his silence and suggestive support for empowering an election denier should sound alarms for Arizona voters.
DCCC spokesperson Tommy Garcia:
“Juan Ciscomani’s reluctance to comment on Cochise County entrusting an election denier with overseeing elections is frightening and threatens the will of AZ-06 voters. He owes Arizonans a response.”
