“Less than 100 days before the midterms, voters are agitating for wholesale change in Congress and looking to the Democratic Party in hopes of making that happen.”
New polling from CNN shows Democrats ahead 8-points on the generic congressional ballot — and with a 20-point advantage among those who say they are extremely motivated to vote.
By 10-points, Americans now view Democrats as the party of change, “a shift from last spring, when the GOP had a 7-point advantage on that metric.”
By 5-points, they say the country would be better off with Democrats in charge.
And by 9-points, Americans believe Democrats are the party that “care about people like you.”
DCCC Spokesperson Aidan Johnson: “House Democrats have the message and momentum on our side. Meanwhile, Republicans are marching in lockstep off a cliff with Donald Trump. They are stuck defending an indefensible record and it will cost them their majority.”
