Barbara Kirkmeyer has done it again – after repeatedly lying to voters in Colorado’s 8th District, she has hit TVs across the state with a new lie in an attempt to deceive voters. We all know about Kirkmeyer’s long history of lying about her dangerous and unpopular stance on abortion. This time she is falsely accusing her opponent, Dr. Yadira Caraveo, of supporting fentanyl legalization in a desperate attempt to move attention away from her unpopular platform.
Unfortunately for Kirkmeyer, local outlets are calling her out for her blatant lies.
Colorado Newsline points out Kirkmeyer’s long history of lying to voters, arguing “Kirkmeyer … has spread a number of false or misleading claims in her campaign for Colorado’s newly created 8th District seat.”
In a blistering fact check, 9News reinforces that Kirkmeyer’s ad is “Not True.” If even local news outlets are fed up with Kirmeyer’s lies, imagine how voters in the 8th District must feel.
