In a debate last Thursday, Colorado 8th’s GOP candidates Barbara Kirkmeyer and Janifer Kulmann took the stage at a local Republican forum. Lori Saine, also running to represent the 8th, was too busy attending a COVID-conspiracy rally to show up.
In Saine’s absence, Weld County secession advocate Barbara Kirkmeyer was more than happy to take up the mantle of extremism by insisting the EPA ‘just needs to go away’ – along with its protections that ensure Coloradans have clean drinking water and clean air to breathe.
Do Janifer Kulmann and Lori Saine agree to Barbara Kirkmeyer’s radical plan to leave Coloradans vulnerable to harmful pollutants?
DCCC Spokesperson Maddy Mundy
“Once again, the GOP candidates of Colorado’s 8th have proven there is no scarcity of extremism in this race. While Lori Saine cavorted with COVID-conspiracists, secessionist Barbara Kirkmeyer called for getting rid of the EPA and the environmental protections keeping Coloradans safe. As Colorado’s Republican field is overtaken by extremists, voters deserve to know where Janifer Kulmann stands.”
