Coffman Skips Vote to Fund the US Military

Yesterday, Mike Coffman bizarrely skipped the vote to fund the United States Department of Defense. That’s right, the same Coffman that touts his position on the Armed Services Committee didn’t bother to show up to vote on the bill that funds America’s Armed Services. Whether he forgot, was too busy fundraising and campaigning, or just didn’t think it was important to be there doesn’t matter – he failed to show up. It’s worth noting that he had time to send out two press releases yesterday. But voting to fund our troops? Not so much.

“Congressman Coffman would be well served to spend less time on self-promotion and more time showing up to do his job,” said DCCC Spokesman Tyler Law. “Fundamentally, Congressman Coffman has one job – voting. He’s apparently too busy to even do that.”
