More than 100 people turned out to a protest in Gabe Evans’ district where the “overriding message was outrage at Evans,” the most vulnerable House incumbent in the country, over the weekend.
Coloradans have a lot of reasons to be mad at Gabe Evans:
DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Gabe Evans is everything Coloradans hate: a slimy politician who puts his Republican Party bosses and billionaire donors first at the expense of his own community. Evans’ short-term political career will come to an abrupt – but unsurprising – end in November 2026.”

Colorado Times Recorder: Greeley Protest: ‘Where’s That Evans Guy?’
- More than a hundred people turned out to Greeley’s Lincoln Park Saturday to participate in the latest Rage Against the Regime, 50501 protest.
- The overriding message was outrage at [Gabe] Evans, who has yet to make an appearance at an in-person town hall in his district despite holding office for six months.
- “We haven’t had the opportunity to call out his dishonesty,” said Karissa Beresford, an Evan’s constituent.
- To date, Evans has only held a “telephone” town hall with pre-selected questions from people on the call.
- Evans won Colorado’s 8th Congressional District, which is located mostly north and east of Denver, by fewer than 2,500 votes last November. It’s the most competitive district in Colorado and one of the most competitive in the entire country.
