GOP congressional hopeful Brett Lindstrom is telling Nebraskans not to trust their own eyes – or their wallets – as they head to the grocery store to prepare for Thanksgiving dinner.
Lindstrom reposted a tweet from the Trump White House account claiming that the cost of Walmart’s Thanksgiving Basket was down from last year – but was quickly hit with a community note showing that in fact, the basket had been cut down from 21 items to 15 items thanks to Republicans’ inflationary agenda.
Let’s not forget: Lindstrom celebrated the passage of House Republicans’ Big, Ugly Bill as “a huge day for America”– even as it rips away critical food assistance from more than 23,000 householdsin NE-02 alone.
