This year, we are sure Barbara Comstock won’t have a hard time deciding who to support for the Republican Presidential nomination. Comstock’s history of attacking women’s reproductive freedoms is even more extreme than the history of her former campaign buddy Scott Walker, who will announce his presidential bid today.
In Wisconsin, Scott Walker’s law mandates that doctors perform ultrasounds on women before administering an abortion. Scott Walker even said ultrasound mandates were “cool” recently. Luckily, the One-Term-Wonder Congresswoman was on the ultrasound mandating bandwagon before it was “cool.” Comstock voted to mandate that doctors perform even more invasive transvaginal ultrasounds before a woman can receive an abortion in Virginia.
“With Walker’s announcement, Comstock is lucky enough to find a tea party candidate for President who matches her extreme positions on women’s reproductive health,” said Meredith Kelly of the DCCC. “We look forward to Comstock and Walker explaining these invasive health policies to voters in Northern Virginia.
