House Republicans failed again today to elect a Speaker – yet they somehow think they should be entrusted to tackle our country’s most pressing issues?
DCCC Spokesperson José Muñoz:
“Republicans have wasted this week trying to elect a MAGA extremist who wants to hurt our abuelitos by cutting Social Security and Medicare as speaker. I have a pretty simple question: ¿Cómo esperan los republicanos que les creamos que pueden ayudar a nuestras familias trabajadoras cuando ni siquiera pueden reunirse para cumplir sus deberes básicos?”
