Congressman Sessions (R-Washington)

Congressman Sessions has been in Washington a long time.

He’s been there since before the Silver Line began construction.

He was there before the Washington Nationals arrived, and the Capitol Visitor Center first opened its doors in 2008.

His time in Washington even pre-dates twitter, and the iPod.

Given how long Congressman Sessions has been in Washington, it makes sense that he’s a Capitals fan, celebrating the start of his hometown team’s season with some of his rich, special interest buddies in a private suite. That’s quite a contrast with what Colin Allred and his team are up to: working hard in Texas talking with voters and hearing from them about their concerns.

DCCC Spokesperson Cole Leiter, released the following statement:

“Congratulations on your team’s Stanley Cup, Congressman Sessions. Luckily, you’ll have plenty of time to follow along this season after folks in Texas’ 32nd elect a real Texan this November.”
