Congressional candidate Martin Babinec sure is showing his true conservative colors.
First, he said that he’d caucus with the House Republicans, if elected.
Then, news broke that Babinec’s campaign manager is a former Trump staffer.
Now, Babinec names a leader of the House Republican Tea Party caucus as a lawmaker he most admires.
According to a POLITICO report from this morning, “Babinec has said he’ll caucus with Republicans if elected, and he named GOP Rep. Justin Amash – an independent-minded, libertarian-leaning member of the House Freedom Caucus – as a lawmaker he admired.”
“First he said he’d caucus with House Republicans, now conservative congressional candidate Martin Babinec names a Tea Party leader as a lawmaker he most admires,” said Bryan Lesswing at the DCCC. “It’s clear that conservative Martin Babinec and Tea Party champion Claudia Tenney have a lot in common.”
