Instead of focusing on workers and families in Southwest Washington, far-right extremist Joe Kent spent his weekend in California – espousing dangerous conspiracy theories.
During a speech on Saturday, Kent – known for his connection to white supremacists and alleged insurrectionists – perpetuated theories about the federal government using taxpayer dollars to “funnel” fentanyl into the country, “whether it’s funding from the USAID or our funding that goes to the UN.”

A lover of fear-mongering, Kent also accused the government of committing “an unconventional warfare operation,” saying, “[Democrats] want to pump as many human beings into this country as they possibly can … so they can use them during the Census to count heads…to get more legislative seats…and get these people ballots either legally or illegally.”
DCCC Spokesperson Dan Gottlieb:
“Unfortunately, it’s no surprise that tinfoil-hatter Joe Kent is perpetuating dangerous lies on social media and spending time with his far-right extremist friends in California instead of connecting with Washington State voters. Southwest Washington deserves a representative who will fight to address their needs and get things done across the aisle – not spread conspiracy theories in the halls of Congress, as Kent would.”
