Conviction Upheld: Federal Court Doubles Down on Ruling for Yvette Herrell’s Convicted Former Endorser

A federal court upheld the conviction of Yvette Herrell’s ally and endorser and founder of Cowboys for Trump, Couy Griffin.

Griffin is a January 6th insurrectionist who the court confirmed can never hold elected office in New Mexico again.

When Griffin endorsed Herrell’s campaign, she praised him on social media, saying, “Cowboys For Trump is truly one of the endorsements I am most proud of! Keep up the great work, Couy!”

Despite trying to walk back her support, Herrell voted against certifying the 2020 election results and against an independent commission to investigate the deadly insurrection.

DCCC Spokesperson Lauryn Fanguen:
“Yvette Herrell and Couy Griffin are both unfit for elected office. A federal court confirmed it for Griffin and New Mexico voters will do the same for Herrell.”
