Less than 70 days out from the November midterms, Democratic momentum is surging as the Cook Political Report shifts three more races in Democrats’ direction.
The shifts include FL-14 and MI-10, which move from Lean R to Toss Up, indicating that Florida’s attempts to rig their way to victory are failing and that Michiganders are sick of Republicans’ broken promises.
Earlier this month, Cook Political shifted three districts in Democrats’ favor and just last week, Inside Elections moved eight districts in Democrats’ direction. So far this cycle, Cook Political and Inside Elections have made over 100 rating changes in Democrats’ favor.
DCCC Communications Director Courtney Rice:
“Democrats are building the momentum to win thanks to their relentless focus on lowering costs, tackling corruption, and fighting for hardworking families. Republicans are running scared (still avoiding town halls) and cowering from questions because they know they can’t answer for their broken promises. Voters are ready to turn the page and elect a Democratic House Majority.”
