Giménez bending public health rules for the Trump campaign is just the latest chapter in a long history of using his office to benefit his political allies.
Whether it’s his insistence that he had “no” concerns about Trump coming to Miami after his coronavirus diagnosis, or maintaining that he has “no problem” with Trump’s deadly failed COVID-19 response, Giménez has proven that his loyalties lie with Donald Trump and the Republican party over the people of South Florida.
