Corrupt Carlos is doing his best to disguise his failure to take the issue of police violence seriously.
Today, Giménez announced his support for a panel to review instances of police violence… the same panel Corrupt Carlos vetoed back in 2018.
But not only did he veto this legislation, but he justified this decision saying: “there is no greater accountability measure than my own expectations of every single Miami-Dade County employee.”
“Corrupt Carlos Giménez can run but he can’t hide from his record of failing to hold police accountable for violence,” said DCCC spokesperson Sarah Guggenheimer. “As millions of protesters demand real action, they deserve better than Corrupt Carlos’ scrambling effort to disguise his record and change the subject from his heavily–criticized decision to leave Floridians stranded by shutting down Miami-Dade’s public transit.”
