Corrupt Carlos Passes the Buck on COVID Spike

As Miami-Dade COVID-19 cases continue to spike with 4,252 new cases confirmed just this weekend, and with Corrupt Carlos Giménez admitting “I can’t get it under control myself,” the mayor is looking for anyone else to blame.

Apparently Corrupt Carlos’ previous excuses that any rise of cases is only because of an increase in testing and his nonsensical assertion that Miami-Dade had “flattened the curve” aren’t working anymore. Instead, he’s now decided to blame, without proof, protesters for the rise of the pandemic.

REMINDER: Corrupt Republican Carlos Giménez had already dangerously and prematurely decided to start reopening the county before these protests began.

“Corrupt Carlos Giménez’s response to COVID-19 can be summed up as: him trying and failing to pretend the pandemic away,” said DCCC Spokesperson Sarah Guggenheimer. “After saying that rising cases aren’t ‘concerning,’ Corrupt Carlos’ decision to blame protesters is just the latest in a series of pathetic and unsuccessful attempts to pass the buck on his floundering approach to the pandemic.”
