Corrupt Carlos “PSA” Pulled For Federal Rules Violation

Corrupt Carlos Comes Under Fire for Violating Rules, Airing County-Funded Ad Outside County

Amid reports from NBC Miami, Florida Politics, and the Miami Herald, a “PSA” featuring Corrupt Carlos Giménez has been pulled for violating federal equal time rules.

Corrupt Carlos came under fire for airing this ad in the middle of his congressional campaign at the expense of Miami-Dade taxpayers.

The spot also just so happened to air in the Florida Keys, which lies outside of Miami-Dade County but within the lines of Florida’s 26th Congressional District. Corrupt Carlos has already drawn scrutiny for sending taxpayer-funded text alerts that bore his name to the Keys.

DCCC Spokesperson Sarah Guggenheimer released the following statement:

“Once again, Corrupt Carlos has been caught taking advantage of Miami-Dade taxpayer dollars to promote his campaign outside Miami-Dade County. There’s no constituent he’s not willing to sell out for his own political gain.”
