George Logan is once again bringing the toxic politics of the Washington GOP to CT-05. Logan rallied yesterday alongside GOP Chairwoman and MAGA leader Ronna McDaniel, who has repeatedly pushed false allegations of election fraud and referred to the violence of January 6th as “legitimate political discourse.” Logan has himself refused to say outright that Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election fairly.
Logan also continues to sport the endorsements of both NRCC Chair Tom Emmer and House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, who are co-sponsoring a proposed nationwide ban on abortion. This draconian, extremist bill is wildly unpopular and voters are eager to demonstrate that at the ballot box.
Abortion was the second most popular response when registered voters were asked their main motivating issue, and 75% of that group plan to vote for Democrats, according to a Fox News poll released yesterday.
