Darrell Issa Votes To Keep Raising Health Care Costs for Southern Californians

Issa votes to block ACA tax credits and allow premium costs to keep rising

As health care costs continue to skyrocket thanks to House Republicans letting ACA tax credits expire, Darrell Issa is hellbent on continuing to raise costs for Southern Californians.

Issa just voted AGAIN against a bipartisan effort to extend ACA tax credits for three years. His vote sends the clear message that he remains a threat to Californians’ access to affordable health care.

REMINDER: Issa cast a deciding vote on the largest cut to Medicaid in history – ripping away health care from over 32,000 of his constituents. He has voted 17 times to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

The DCCC will continue holding Issa accountable for his long record of attacking affordable health care and breaking his promise to lower costs for Californians.

DCCC Spokesperson Anna Elsasser:
Today’s vote is another cruel reminder that Darrell Issa doesn’t care about Californians struggling to keep up with skyrocketing health care bills and is instead actively working to raise costs. Voters will remember his betrayal in November.”
