In the last eight days, David Schweikert, who represents a district President Biden won in 2020, is under fire for his empty rhetoric and total hypocrisy.
Schweikert urged Arizona’s veterans to seek benefits made possible by the bipartisan Honoring Our PACT Act – legislation he voted against twice.
Schweikert has made federal health care spending on diabetes a focus of his Congressional activity – but he has voted twice against capping the cost of insulin to $35 per month for qualified households.
DCCC spokesperson Justin Chermol:
“This Congress, David Schweikert has insincerely lectured Arizona’s veterans, seniors, and working families. Rather than find solutions, Schweikert has spent his time finger-pointing. He’s wrong for Arizona.”
