David Schweikert, Eli Crane, and Juan Ciscomani are destroying Social Security – and their allies are boasting about it.
First, Schweikert, Crane, and Ciscomani fully submitted to Elon Musk’s plan to gut the agency, which cut phone lines, fired staff, and laid off workers through his cruel DOGE effort.
Second, the administration’s Howard Lutnick openly joked that people wouldn’t complain if seniors missed payment and offices closed.
Third, Schweikert, Crane, and Ciscomani voted for the Big, Ugly Law, which Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent admitted was a “backdoor for privatizing Social Security.”
Now, a new report has found that Social Security offices lost an estimated 20% of staff this year.
And if that wasn’t enough, in another example of the Republican obsession to dismantle Social Security, the Administration is rolling out a proposal to cut disability benefits to recipients.
