David Schweikert Signs Onto “Pro-IVF” Measure That Does Nothing To…*Checks Notes*…Protect IVF

In his latest move to hide his record of threatening access to reproductive care, David Schweikert is signing onto a so-called “pro-IVF” measure that “doesn’t do anything to actually protect the procedure.”

Schweikert is pulling out all the stops to mislead voters on his repeated support for the Life at Conception Act, a total national abortion ban that would impose similar restrictions on IVF and fertility treatments as the Alabama Supreme Court ruling.

And rather than signing onto a bill that *actually* protects IVF nationwide, Schweikert is putting on a show to gain a few political points.

DCCC Spokesperson Lauryn Fanguen: 
“David Schweikert is all talk and no action. He’s desperately trying to save face by signing onto a do-nothing resolution for a political talking point. Arizonans deserve better and they won’t fall for it.”
