Today, David Schweikert’s Republican Study Committee held a press conference to introduce its extreme MAGA budget that would have a devastating impact on Arizona seniors.
Chief among Schweikert’s disastrous policies is cutting Social Security and privatizing Medicare. Schweikert doubling down on his obsession with cutting Social Security comes after Arizona seniors spoke out in front of his district office condemning his dangerous attacks.
In this budget, Schweikert is also once again calling for passage of the Life at Conception Act, legislation he’s previously co-sponsored six times, that would effectively ban abortion nationwide with no exception for rape, incest, or the life of the woman and would also essentially ban IVF access.

His role in this group proves Schweikert has turned his back on Arizonans and will do whatever the far-right fringe of his party tells him to, including decimating Social Security, privatizing Medicare and banning abortion nationwide.”
