Recent reporting reveals that Republicans are ordering states across the country to rip health care away from chronically sick Americans – including those who have cancer or HIV – to comply with Valadao’s law.
One expert summarized to CNN what could happen to a patient impacted by the new, cruel rules:
“They’ll show up to chemo or show up for cancer surgery and find out they don’t have the coverage they need. Their lifesaving treatment will be taken from them.”
