Valadao’s vote takes away health care coverage and food assistance from working parents, kids, seniors, and people with disabilities in California
David Valadao and House Republicans just passed a far-right budget resolution that will rip away health care coverage and affordable food for millions of American families, all so they can fund massive tax breaks for their billionaire backers and wealthy corporations.
In CA-22 alone, this dangerous vote risks health care coverage for 288,000 people and food assistance for nearly 61,000 households.
Despite the loud outcry of people in CA-22 warning Valadao to vote against decimating Medicaid and threatening their livelihoods, Valadao still voted to pass this destructive budget scam, once again choosing his D.C. party bosses and billionaires over Californians.
The DCCC will hold Valadao accountable for his support of this dangerous agenda to rip away health care and food access from California families.
